Bud Williams Funeral Arrangements

Posted on Wed, Jan 9, 2013

Buddy (Bud) Gene Williams was born Oct. 13, 1937, the seventh child of Earl and Winifred (Potts) Williams. He was born and raised on the family farm at Bear Creek near Viola, WI. He attended West Lima School and graduated in 1956. He married Helen Wendorf. Two children were born of this union. He married Shirley Blakley Dec. 24th, 1980. Bud worked as a heavy equipment operator. After his retirement, Bud and Shirley spent time traveling. They spent every day together, walking in the woods, looking for mushrooms and ginseng. Bud and Shirley lived for their grandchildren and great grandchildren. Bud spent many hours in the woods, cutting wood and mowing the pastures, the home farm looked like a nature preserve and park. He enjoyed giving the grandchildren and great grandchildren rides in the Kubota in the woods. You didn't dare mention the work "ride" in front of them or they were headed to the door for their ride. Bud's dog Precious was always at his side. Bud was a great neighbor and friend to everyone.
